Our Philosophy

Maximising Your Child’s Potential

The aim of Little Tinkers is to enrich and maximise each individual child's development and potential as they make their foundation steps of life, by providing a fun, loving, safe and stimulating environment for them to play, have fun, grow and flourish.

Challenging Environment

The environment we have created for the children encourages them to thrive and grow through well-planned and organised activities - many of which are based on the children's interests - a diverse range of toys and learning equipment, and positive role models. We provide core activities on a continuous basis and use indoor and outdoor areas in equal measure.

We also challenge our children to improve their development by having a primary school teacher in regular attendance.

Continuous Improvement

We provide a clean and well-maintained environment with excellent health and safety procedures, and hold regular staff and management meetings to review, assess and implement any necessary changes in order to continually improve.

Our management structure is also robust with managing director Mandy Naylor taking an active role in the day to day running and strategic development of the nursery. Mandy is exceptionally supported by manager Sarah Joy and the team whose key aim is to provide the highest standard of care in a welcoming, warm and positive environment.

Parent Partnerships

We see all our parents as partners with the flow of information a two-way street. We regularly ask for their feedback via everyday discussions, and more formally through our monthly newsletter. As a result we offer parent workshops so they can provide extended learning to their children in their own homes.
